It's official we have a name..........

A wonderful mix of Indian sounds and meaning and my very own Ally.

Given that she was the motivator, confidence booster and all round best ever, most patient travelling companion, it only seems fitting.

In Hindi, a 'Haveli' literally means 'big house', but like us it is so much more. It is where families live together, share their lives, loves, celebrations, feasts, humble meals, births, arrivals and festivals.

The entrance to a haveli is often highly decorative. The doorway has a 'secret garden' feel to it, you are just not quite sure what wonderful adventures, mysteries or treasure might lie behind it.

But nonetheless it invites you in and so do we in to our home of .....
